Hi Folks,
hoping that someone may know someone who knows someone etc...
I've had some workshop space lined up for a while now (equivalent to a double-garage-amount of floorspace in a commerial garage with use of welding set and cranes for £50/month inc. electricity - really good deal) so that I can restore another Landy for myself. Unfortunately the business that was going to rent me space is going out of business and so my deal has fallen thru
So - I'm trying to find an alternative. I'm after, as explained, roughly a double-garage amount of space with access to electricity.
This could be a detatched domestic garage, space in a commercial vehicle workshop, space in an industrial unit, a farm outbuilding or anything like that. I'm a tidy worker, keeping things neat and clean and would obviously look after the place well. I'll only be working on weekends and the odd time thru the week if I take time off.
I can provide references from workshops I've rented in the past and work requires background checks/CRB etc in case any proof of character is needed.
Anything would be considered, the only provisos are that:
-I'd be using angle grinders and other noisy equipment so the 'shop would have to be in an industrial area or in a place with really understanding neighbours.
-I'd need it to be secure so I can leave tools there.
Really appreciate any help that may be offered.
Location - West Cumbria ideally, but certainly no more than half an hours drive from Whitehaven. Duration - medium to long term, if it works out well I'll gladly keep it on even after this project is done.
