Having been a welder for years, I always could do foreigners (homers)
. Now I'm not welding for a job, I had to buy a new machine to do all those projects in the garage & weld my ever aging Transit Campervan.
Not wanting to waste money on rubbish I bought a 180mig welder made by Butters-Uk from a distributor in Bristol. I have over 20 years welding experience and have to say this is one of the best welders I have used, lovely arc characteristics easy to set up & use.
The quality is first class with a euro fitting, 40watt motor, and industrial drive roll with two wire sizes on it. For anyone looking for a good mig machine I would recommend you look at their website which is buttersuk.co.uk. They do from 180 amp up to 600a mig machines and are built here in the Uk so no rice and chopsticks in these machines.
Just thought it might be of interest if your looking for a new machine oh and they have no connection to that AMT bunch that were around so I am informed.
