which should i go for theres a £10 difference locally

i want to weld car body work to about 6mm this will hopfuly be a welder for the long term.

any comments or reviews?

Best thing would be to try both sets on some thin material.............also check out whether they are aluminium or copper windings. Copper wound sets tend to be work more smoothly on thin/rusty material, and make this type of work a lot easier. Finally have a good look at the quality of the wire feed mechanisms, and make sure you try the stitch feature on some thin sheet.

no wonder why my landrover is so heavy meant to car body work and up to 6mm

Hi micky-c,
We would recommend the Lincoln. They are top quality, reliable and built to last. Murex now comes under the ESAB umbrella, which I think is quite wide spread and although popular, you sometimes wonder whether you will get the same result.
