...have you read about gasless?not well like for car/thin metal ,what are you going to weld?....personally I never use the stuff ,i use co2 which is a halfway house between gasless and argon mix,but has no rental and is cheap...
If you are currentlly set up for disposable bottles?,it would be worth trying a co2,see how you get on as it welds differently to argon mix.........cars i find easier to use the "thin metal technique".for heavier gauge material you can run normal beads but its more splattery and not as stable an arc..... thin metal video......what do you want to weld?....If you get on with disposable bottles ,it is worth getting a pub sized cylinder for which a full sized regulator would be required, locate a supplier for the cylinder before buying a reg!......often friendly landlords, fire extinguisher suppliers or outside bar suppliers will rent a bottle for around £15,but it must be 100% co2 and not include nitrogen as some pub gases do......full sized reg will cost £30+ and can be purchased through weldequip shop at top of page.......what do you want to weld ?cars or heavier gauge steel?
Are you currently using disposable cylinders Bob ,and if you are what kind? Argon mix or co2?

you could try co2 in disposable cylinder ,lasts longer than argon/co2 disposables (so i'm told)....if you get on with it then try and locate pub gas and reg...as said reg+adaptor £30 ish and pub gas normally £12-18 for a 3ft cylinder which does last well......some people hate it ,but worth trying a disposable ?![]()

try posting another question on the forum ,we prob have other members near you ,its possible someone has already located a supplier .....![]()

,,,,post some pics and be good to see some welds from it ,we need a good review on this welder ,lots of people have asked about it ,yet there is very little information about this model
......check this link.........welder discussion......this is typical of the advice given ..we need sealey owners to post pictures of their projects ,welders etc and to let new members know how you rate your experience....idealy we need a side by side comparison of clarke, sealey and seigen in the future
Did you find a local supply for Adams gas? I rent a cylinder from Energas but I would drop that for a rent free one as I don't use much nowadays. Disconnect your wire feed and press the trigger with the machine switched on then turn the regulator up gradually and listen for gas with the tip near to your ear. When you can hear it look at the gauge and if it's around 10psi that's enough.Whereabouts in Derbyshire are you Bob? It does cover quite an areaQUOTE]
