Solar Thermal Install

Been working every Saturday for the last month and during the week I've nothing left mojo wise when I get in. Somehow managed to do a little bit yesterday:

Got the bottom rail extended and 4 out of the 5 brackets repositioned & screwed on. Got to fill the holes in the felt where I moved the bracket positions. I'll definitely be disturbing the ridge tiles to get the top rail brackets on.

If as I suspect, 3 twelve panel tubes as in 36 tubes is going to give me lots of excess heat, I'm mulling fitting one panel to the SE facing roof to the left of the dormer to catch early morning sun and may use that heat to some sort of warm air blower for space heating inside.

Then just have 2 panels on the main hip?

My other half's mum had solar thermal fitted to her annexe. that was one of your panels at most (I.e 12 tubes). In summer, it spent most of its time boiling over. That may have been poor control etc, but one panel was enough to boil her tank. I know nothing on this topic but I'd wager with all three panels you will have a lot of excess heat.

As above, well aware of the excess heat issue. The house internally is very cold, even at the height of summer. It's axis/roofline runs north south so there's not much solar gain. I'm looking to use that excess heat for space heating. Unconventional I know.

Great in theory, but unless you can find a cheap blown air interface unit, I can't see it being a cheap or simple solution.
The repositioned panel sounds like a good idea, but wouldn't it be easier to just dump the excess heat into standard radiators instead of going down the blown air route?

I'd be inclined to agree with @gaz1. That/those trees will be blocking a lot of sun/heat.

Quite a lot but there's a neighbour's tall trees as well as mine on the boundary to the south east. Then 3 of my apple trees. Virtually next to the house is a massive cherry tree, the red X, I keep meaning to fell and send to @Dapph2 to make pens...

SWMBO is reluctant to fell any trees because of the "iccle animals".

No need to wait!

The previous tree trimming I did massively cut down on "visitors". Need to do some more trimming. That and get rid of the two out of three overhead cables that I can, the old overhead supply to the garage that can come out once I've put the gates, lights and sockets on the new cu in there that currently just supplies the EV charger. The new cu is supplied underground.

Then there's a manky old bit of t&e run overhead to the old stable, quite literally strung between trees. Need to do another trench to sort that.
