Scheppach MBS1200 metal band saw blade is slipping off

Have a Scheppach MBS1200 metal band saw and have problems with the blade slipping off. Have checked flatness / reversed the rubber belts but no better. Sometimes it will stay on for a whole session but often comes off after a few cuts. Am using replacement blades 1140mm x 12.7mm x 10/14tpi which I think is right and cutting 3mm to 6mm mild steel at mid speed 3 (about 1.4 m/s). Any thoughts please - almost unusable as it stands.

The wheels are probably worn due to slippage.

either the top or bottom wheel's bearings may be bad, allowing the wheel to tilt slightly.

Has it just started, or has it always been that way?

The blade kept cracking on mine (along the back edge) and I eventually found that one set of guide rollers had been poorly installed, and one of the bearings was cocked over at an angle. Dismantled, reassembled correctly and it's been fine ever since.

Maybe worth checking yours? (These are the sets of bearings either side of the throat that twist the blade between the throat and the drive wheels.)

Thanks for the idea. Just taken and a look and both sets of bearings look ok. It was fine during the warranty period!
