This seems to be fairly common on European machines. (Cebora etc)
I think (in Italy at least) they have both 240v and 415v single phase supplies available
was common on the old
hobart and lincoln dinosaur tig machines
2,phases and an earth
split phase some sparkys called it very heavy cables and fuses needed my old hobart
cybertig used to dim the lights when you stomped on the pedal
we are at the end of a line and my neighbour could tell if i was welding




even though its used it is not british standard and it is classed as a controll cable
