hi not sure if this is the correct place to post but i have an sip handy mig and it was over heating and i have stripped it down and cleaned all the contacts but when i was finished it is feeding the wire in reverse so im wondering if someone has a photo of the inside of there machine so i can see if i have mistakenly put a wire in the wrong place. any help would be great.

It sounds as if you have reversed the connections to the wire feed motor, trace them back and swap them round,

I was looking for that link the other day

For the opening question the wire feed motor is DC so switching the connections around will make it go the other way as Paul suggested.

thanks guys the only things i have done is clean the contacts on the transformer and the top wires on the front rocker switch.

I remembered it but had to go off forum and Google SIP motor feed fix to find it
