It's actually one of the alcohol free beers that tastes just as good as the original.
Ball bearing hinges for a restaurant door I made 10 years ago,so reasonable lifespan as 1 had split,the door is 160kg! photo of the door some years back.

Its been a good week at the yacht club scrap skip. I have been roped in by a friend who is collecting a batch of tools for Tools with a mission a charity that sends tools to Africa.
Despite having a collection point in one of the club sheds & putting notices on the notice board & website plus fb, most people just throw everything in the scrap metal skip.
This week i go down there with my lad (30) the haul starts with Two Record woodwork vices, A long sash clamp, 4 good tenon saws, 6 good panel saws (all Spear & jackson or Diston) 5 hardpoint Sandvics (new) Two hand operated pillar drills, three hand drills, Spades, forks, metal files in good condition, Hammers, Record Stillsons. Then yesterday afternoon a Superior bench mounted Pillar drill, It was left on the floor next to the skip as too heavy to throw in it. Its a 1920-30's flat belt drive machine but the quill didnt have much slop & it was all there. Plugged it in & it runs.
Too heavy to send to Africa its now in my sons shed.

but a game changer (for me) as far as body worn tech is concerned, it knocks the Samsung watch into a cocked hat. I don't say that lightly either. The data this is able ton give me is far more comprehensive than the watch. Because I was wearing the Galaxy watch all the time I felt like a bit of a prat wearing that and one of my actual watches now I can wear a watch and the ring and still get massive amounts of data. The data can easily be fed into Claud for interpretation unlike the Samsung data which is a palaver to get downloaded and into Claude, the ring interfaces it's app natively. I have, since my health issues, become very conscious of my health and heart rate, exercise and sleep patterns, the watch can be a pain, the ring much less so.
