Who makes roof finials?

The only problem I can see, with regard to plating or galvanising, is if it's
getting shot at on a regular basis.
This will compromise the plating/galvanising and will probably reduce
it's rust resistance capabilities

It isn't connected to a cable but I agree that it does have that Frankenstein look about it.

Oh lovely. Cabrerets is in the Lot, but not far from us at all.

You are very privileged to live near Hay-on-wye. It is a beautiful place, and the festival is fabulous. Talking of books, there used to be a gorgeous bookshop not too far from you in Malvern. Run by a mad old lady (in a good way) who planned to hand it over to her niece. Do you know whether it still exists?
