moss killer?

my patio sika sand in between slabs has moss growing on parts .
I don't want to use a pressure washer in case it loosen the sand what is the best stuff to use to kill moss etc.
we don't have any pets so its not a problem.
last year I bought monty miracle patio cleaner but I don't recall if it was good enough?
what have you guys used with success?

sodium hypochlorite + watering can
not sure how strong.. normally put a couple of glugs into the can then fill with water
it will kill grass/everything if it runs off
just dont walk on the patio and then into the house straight after

5lts of water , mix in table salt until no more is absorbed.
1 small bottle of washing up liquid.
1lt of white vinegar.
Apply in warm dry weather

But you can apply it anywhere by spraying it on and its safer than hypochlorite.

yea and the wind blew it all over my van when spreading and got wet and the white paint went rusty brown and wouldnt wash off . had to tee cut the whole lot and even then discoloured it

Ferrous sulphate is a great moss killer on a lawn, but (as above) will leave orange/brown stains on the patio which be hard to get off. My preference is to wonder in to Wickes and buy their proprietary moss killer.

Sodium percarbonate - clean the paving too. And your washing. Even Amazon flogs it. Removed the moss from my rough tarmac drive.

It's also a great slug repellant.

we use a hefty does of salt with a squirt of w up liquid....for that kinda job.....
cheap, sometimes u need to use it twice.....
ps the w up liquid makes it sticky....we use it as a norm weed killer...

It's also a great slug repellant.

And mildew-preventative for vines, and blight-killer for toms and spuds, although I think properly it's supposed to be mixed with lime to make Bordeaux Mix for these? Does Bordeaux Mix still exist in the UK? It's called "la bouillie bordelaise" here in France and is quite popular.

You mean 15 to 20 % of product in water?

Stuff I use as 20% as supplied, domestos and the like is normally 5 % max

yes roughly 5 parts water to 1 product but we put it through a foam lance as the foam clings to the roof better and you get less wastage.
