Last year wifey was halfway up the stairs with the ironing board before the " what the hell am I doing" occured to her. It was supposed to be going back to the utility room.

Filled it up in the kitchen, walked straight past it's power base plug thing and started upstairs....

Clip tape measure to my work trousers, forget its there, then hunt around looking for a tape measure.

I've often gone upstairs and forgotten why when I get there, having said that it's never a bad idea to take a 'slash opportunity' whilst there so not entirely wasted.
I'm terrible for glasses they're on my head alice band fashion or hooked found the neck of a jumper and I've forgotten I did it, lots of hunting around and swearing ensuing, til I realise, or am told 'they're on yer head mate'....

I do a very good home magic act, I can walk across a room and lose a document that was in my hand, last week I.lost the.milk and it turned up under the sink, not long now before they take me away

Is this why we buy multiplies of the same tool sometimes (), so we have a better chance of finding the "one" we are looking for...... ...

Its not working for me now. I have started sorting my tools etc and i find 5 and put them in one place....... I need one. Start looking for 1 and unless i get lucky i cant find even one as they are all together.

You need multiple tool boxes/locations now.

I know l have/own 10 x 5m Stanley tape measures and 5 x 8m tapes measure.

Can l find them all, maybe 1, 2 or 3, if I'm very lucky today.

Was over Mums yesterday and needed a spanner, found 5 tape measures whilst looking.

They were a different style, a different shade of the same colour which I guess made them look weird. So answer to your question is all three.

One morning I put orange juice in my tea plus poured it over my cornflakes! Not a nice combo!

did exactly the same , went off to a clay shoot , nice day , that evening taking of boots realised I had one workboot on and one walking boot , I nor anyone had noticed ! unless they were too polite which I doubt. considering trying again as had a fair score that day !

as a lad on a sat morning , good night friday , in the kitchen doing weetabix dad turned around and said something like think you want to change that , I had put weetabix in the pot on the oven to warm and the milk in the bowl , so maybes not an age thing at all , hmm, what i would give for another chat with dad .

Took my wife to hydrotherapy.
Went to a small market town, walked the high street twice, and entered a few shops.
Then went for lunch at a market garden, followed by a 4 mile walk over beautiful countryside.
Thought something doesn’t feel quite right.
Bent down to tie my laces.
Then realised I was wearing odd shoes

Saw a Doctor in hospital wearing one black shoe and one brown shoe of different styles. Highly educated and intelligent but needs help getting dressed in the morning.
