Theyre like 2 little toggles one front and back of the tank that the rubber bands hook round, not clips just a place to hook on toI used to use furniture webbing ( stretchable and very strong ) on my Manx Triumph . No complicated clips .

Thats the best bit about Tritons you can make it how you like itThis was an impulse purchase, and will more than likely start collecting dust too
I hadn't thought about a rubber toggle, I quite like the look of a strap and am using a leather belt rather than a stainless strap.
I've went with a slickshift triumph box although I do like the AMC on my commando.
I always said to myself 'one day' but a frame came up at the right price and I just went for it. Can't say the build has been cheap though however it has been fairly enjoyable so far and has got me into machining as well as tig.

This is what a real Domiracer looks like, Lowboy frame not Featherbed. Replica of the 1961 factory bike ridden by Tom Phillis in the TTThats the best bit about Tritons you can make it how you like it
Same here it was an impulse that then turned into "thats quite expensive to do properly" once you get carried away with the bits you really want. And I also got a slimline and completely gone off them and want a wideline but have lots of slimline specific bits already
I cannot for the life of me find any pictures of the Dresda slimline conversions to wideline looking rear end... that re-lights my fire a bit to make my vision of what a Domiracer shouldve been...
Yes I know the lowboy but there were also 3 factory slimline frames raced at Daytona and to me is more in the spirit of the continuation of the Manx into the next generationThis is what a real Domiracer looks like, Lowboy frame not Featherbed. The Americans wouldn’t allow the Lowboy frame and insisted on a production frame which by then was the slimline.Yes I know the lowboy but there were also 3 factory slimline frames raced at Daytona and to me is more in the spirit of the continuation of the Manx into the next generation
Very coolThe Americans wouldn’t allow the Lowboy frame and insisted on a production frame which by then was the slimline.
This is Oulton Park 1967 with my standard Featherbed framed “Domiracer” with a copy of the factory camshaft in it.
