Heavy duty battery crimp terminals

I need to buy a small quantity of heavy duty insulated battery / solar crimp terminals, bus bars, etc. I already have a hydraulic crimping tool.

I presume the offerings on AliExpress are very poor quality, so can I have some recommendations for an online supplier of small quantities at a reasonable price? Thanks.

I've got a decent selection as well if seadog doesn't have what you need.

Mainly because of the above reason, you have to buy a bag of at least 10 then only use 2 of them..

Plenty of people in the same boat as me selling the unused ones in small/single quantities on ebay etc. although it can be hard to find them amongst all the chjnese resellers.
Try searching for some brand names, decent ones are Rema, Lapp, Kompress, Prysmian, Krimpit, Klauke, Engex, Cembre, TE, Amp and so on.

Everything RS sell is generally good. They don't make any themselves so dig down into the data sheet and you can often find the manafactures details and source them in smaller quantities that way.

@Seadog and @hotponyshoes thanks for the kind offer. I need to size and buy some cables this week, and depending on the supplier I may be able to source a few connectors too.

@hotponyshoes thanks for suggesting some good makes.

I've just realized that Screwfix do suitably sized connectors, but I'm guessing the quality may not be the best, maybe on par with the online cheapies

Newlec copper tube crimps are the best I have come across

Using some on my Unimog 90 mm2 starter cables only yesterday, but I solder them rather than crimp

Have always used Durite crimp terminals with no problem.
most auto electrical places can get them, there used to be a Durite catalogue with all the stuff you can buy in it, but that was a few years ago.
Avoid cheap ones, had them fracture as you crimp them before!!

Nice crimper but very EXPENSIVE.

These work just as well with a decent 2>4lb micro-vernier adjuster.

Had similar a few times at work - all due to how things are set up in our systems. The bit I can see show them as singles, but the bit purchasing were looking at had them set up as a purchase quantity of bags/boxes etc. So I add one off, wanting one off item to a BOM, demand gets raised, purchasing order one off of a bag/box of ten, 100, 1000.

Same with hose, tubing etc - BOM says one off, wanting one metre. Pick quantity set as a reel. So one small assembly had hundreds of pounds of tubing booked to it. Still goes on.

Problem with the screwfix ones is they vary. They just buy from whatever supplier is cheapest at the time I think.
That's ok if you are manual crimping as you can just go until they are tight but a Hydraulic Crimper needs the correct size Lugs to match the Die.
The cheap crimps tend to lack material thickness so don't normally Crimp up tight (and crack as mentioned)
