Plastic trim rivet removal tool

Hi after first oil change in my ownership on a 2021 seat arona I was a bit miffed by the removal of the plastic undertray.

8 or 10 T25, 3 x T 40 then 2 trim rivets ( the ones with the headed pin that needs to be pulled out).
They were fitted down a 40mm deep 30mm diameter recess in the undertray.

As I was a little frustrated they were popped out with a pry bar and replaced with the clips with the screw in centre.

Is there a tool ( I imagine a bit like the old style end cutting wire strippers ) that I might get for next time I have the problem.

Wasn't sure what to search for ?

Push pin removal tool.

Although getting one to go down such a small dia recess might be interesting.

Actually just spotted some on Amazon but no real idea of the working end width and reach. Might just get a pair and see if they look useful to have in the tool box (or return).
Unless anyone has a better option.

up to now I still use a trim tool and a small pick but I see there seems to be a few new designs about the look interesting , Ill watch this thread with interest.

Exact same setup on a 2017 Polo, I replaced them with the ones that use a cross head screw pin as easier to remove - if it was my car I would fit rivnuts and proper scews with T40 drives.

Funny enough Rivnuts and "proper" bolts were my proper solution but i was fed up by then so as you the plastic ones with cros head screws went in.
usually do 10000 a year so that's a job for next time.
I'd only run wheels up some 6x2 timber thinking its pretty high ground clearance already but never quite enough at the rear of the undertray.

So much "design" is of the "any fool can tighten a nut with a pencil" style with no thought for the real world implications. Even Dealer level " technician" might be bit upset needing 3 tools on such a simple job!
