Me and MrsG were back last weekend casting copper axe heads rather than bronze animals.
Mould much easier to make due to much simpler shape. It's a copy of Otzi the iceman's axe head.
Simpler to make the mould but trickier to pour.
We were a bit slow hence the pitting.
But as the tutor said, the important end is fine and 'copper age' man would have been happy to use it.
Definitely like this casting lark.
