Technically you will find the 'extra' bit brings the twix bar back up to the size the standard bar used to be.

The warrior tech unit it's a discontinued model unfortunately.I had to look that item up (I'm not too clued-up about welding kit).
As far as I could tell its very muchvthe same thing?
If there are differences or one is supposedly better than the other - I just wouldn't know!
I'm hoping though you've found it to be a good welding mask setup - and hopefully mines a good one as well!
(Better be - its the most expensive mask I've bought by miles - even technically s/h!)
Yours is the replacement.
From looking online - I think the Savage A40 has been replaced with the A41 (it's gone more "digital").
When stuff goes more "digital" IMO that often means gimmicks rather than better or more practical - a triumph of marketing & cost-cutting over need.... so I doubt we are missing out on much.

I've often fancied the idea of trying a bit of spray painting (though the 2-pack lethal stuff would be unwise for me I reckon lol).At least if you do use it for paint spraying you won’t see the runs
The thing is... from a position ot total ignorance - the painting itself, the base primer, the prep, the various sanding, the mixing, the dust, the water-traps in your airlines, what to thin different paint with and how much, nozzles, spare patterns, technique, temperature.....

They have quite a following and finding an unknown one is always good, I don't know if that makes it much more valuable though
Half the weight of the 1970 version no doubt.

twix extra is a con same with the mars bar
both have been shrunk in size whilst claiming to be bigger they are equal size to the original that used to be sold
