Cooked brake disc.

I had to replace a stuck rear brake caliper (electric parking brake) in Jan 25, at the time I just changed the pads and calliper and continued using the disc. However I got an advisory at the MOT and got round to changing both rears today. Both discs were fairly new, maybe two years old. You can see what's happened to the cooked one.

That's got a bit warm, my Freelander a front disc was like that when I bought it, that was a stuck caliper piston that ended up being the problem
