The easy option would be to fit an outside toilet, no need for expensive plumbing, just become space waste. Just imagine hitting a turd at 25,000 mph & getting that on the windscreen though.

The press keep on claiming that they will be the farthest from earth that people have ever been. What about the guy who stayed on board the "mother ship" when the landing took place was he not doing a few laps as he waited or was he in a stationary orbit. Long time ago and my memory is playing up nowadays.

I think he was in a lower orbit so closer to the moon and therefore earth. I think these guys are orbiting the moon further out.

Yes, but how far away is that when measured as London busses or football pitches? Without some random media measurement it's all just numbers to me.

About 4km more distant from Earth than the furthest point on the Apollo missions, so not a huge amount really.
