Machining help wanted...

I don't know where to put this so apologies if it's in the wrong place and mods please move if necessary!
A good friend of mine has just got himself an old combined woodworking machine, that turns into table saw, band saw, sander and lathe etc. It has a problem however because it didn't come with a chuck and apparently modern chucks have different threads, so he needs an adaptor making. It needs a piece of 50mm bar and someone clever with a lathe. I have a drawing and beer tokens available if anyone can help?

there r ready made lathe adaptors.....
most new chuck suppliers will have lists....look at wood turners supplies.....

Put this into Amazon's search engine there are an awful lot , some times you have to get them on back order which can take sevreral months .

. You will need to count the threads p[er inch and measure the diameter . for it's likely to be UNF , BSF or any thing but metric

It would remove the need for a lot of guesswork and would save your time.

What is the machine? There were only a limited number of manufacturers of such, so including that information would also help.

Word of caution with these adapters as my father's wood lathe uses a 1" spindle but the chuck he bought is a 3/4" 16tpi thread...he bought 4 all together and they all turned up completely different, all advertised as 3/4x16 chuck adapter, all claimed to take his lathe from the 1 inch to 3/4 and only 1 out of the 4 actually did. I was on the verge of turning one when the 4th arrived and actually worked

It looks a fun machine. Apparently there is a keen owners club, my mate has been digging for info and found allsorts. He reckons he's not the only one who'd need an adaptor either. He's long retired and got this for a hobby. He's done me a lot of favours (mostly organising a regular music session and putting up with my awful mandolin playing when I first started playing seriously!) So I'd really like to help him. Plus I'd like a play on this thing!

I've got 2 of these buried in the shed.
There is a box of extra parts as well.

There may be an extra chuck in there.

Or, if I don't have any chucks at all then I would also like to buy an adaptor if it makes it more worthwhile for someone to take this job on and make 2 rather than just one?
