Attempted to repair my first GBB Beretta
Completely stripped the thing to fix the sear mechanism
Since I've already replaced the magazines, the air seal, lubed all the slide component which actually works fine if swapped on my other Beretta...
That was the main suspect causing the malfunction (hammer follow).
So I've replaced the "striker" spring Wich is the tilted down plate visible in this picture.
It's the firing pin of this thing.
It opens the magazines valve when it's hit by the hammer.
It stays open till a valve in air nozzle (located in the slide) closes and allows to move the piston and consequently the slide back.
At this point the hammer is fully cocked
Air nozzle breaks to contact with the magazine, gas leaks out, air nozzle is pushed back via two little springs, slide start to close the action pushing a new BB in the chamber, completing the cycle.
That's how it's supposed to work, unfortunately it's still not working properly, very low gas efficiency tells me something wrong with the air nozzle I can't find anywhere.
And I'm most likely going to get a CO2 magazine for it.
Because it works for few shots but then it just short strokes like if the air nozzle valve opens up to early or if the hammer spring is too heavy to make it work

You need to Man Up . I have just passed this one, luckily I was on foot and not passing it via a body orifice

Well, on the lawn with "Samantha" today, you just know i got wrong for it, it got bad, First (as my friend @selectedgrub would say) first we put on the lotion:

But that wasn't the half of it, oh no! Let me introduce you to something else we can all get obsessive about, gentlemen and ladies, I give you the Shark Clean Air machine:
Apparrently you unbox it, turn it on and instantly your air is of better quality, much better than the neighbours that's for sure! Apparently it was of a perfect reading 100% before I showed up and my presence caused the air quality to plummet. That she was cooking something on every ring on the hob played no part in this, it was me (and I should live outside!).

Made a canter levered gate today 13'x6' with 100x50 box section, going to clad it with scaffolding boards.
In the picture of the boards, the boards on the right have one coat of stain, the three on the left have been blended
with 3 different stains to mimic cedar panels, never tried this before, but I think it's an improvement on just one solid colour

Put the finishing touches on a project that spanned a few years....found the upper die at a used shop (IIRC $40)
made the holder, had a friend machine the slot. a few years later, i get around to finishing it up (heck it was raining outside)
Just got done making the lower "die" and cross bars, worked good on a full width piece of 1/16" thick steel. 18 1/2" width capacity.

You have given me an idea for making grease retainers on the headstock shaft of my antique lathe. I tried throwing them freehand without much success but the bearing in the tool post is ideal as I already have a bearing'd shaft set up for tool post use .
