Decent set of Hand Files?

I only have access to SFix and TooStn and they have wera files at 150 squids or Magnusson at 15 squids.
Are Wera worth it.?
I don’t have machinery so, all my work is by hand. I’m tired of blunt files.

they might be decent ,chuck em in a bucket of battery acid for a few hours and sharpens them up nicely

Magnusson tools are usually ok, get the cheap set for now if its urgent then a better set online, files dont last forever.

Amazon list Pferd files but they have a few days delivery.

I get files from G and M tools -

Cutting Tools,Gear Cutters, Milling Cutters, Broaches,Drills,Files,Abrasives, Cleaning, Taps & Dies. Archives - G&M Tools

They have a lot of new old stock decent files at good prices.

Oddly I have just been looking at files on the rain forrest. mainly comparing 5 piece diamond needle file set to 11 piece needle file set as they are the same price-ish.

Personally my preferred brand is Pferd.

I don’t think it happened, but he did do a bulk buy of Pferd wire brushes, still using mine.

When I cleared my poor late Fathers garage out - he had good sellection of Nicholson/Pherfd/Grobet files and loads of little sets of Vallorbe needle files.

I did keep them all....
