One of the best owner diagnoses that I ever received was ' It's gorn fingy-bob.... 'Yeah the discussion with the customer about the fault went :-

Some years ago when I was in the PC repair trade, I got sent to our office in the Netherlands to help out for a week.
The same Dutch phrase kept appearing on the job tickets. I asked one of the guys what it meant.

Well the new loom has sorted out the gremlins, so it's running again now. The carb settings are all over the place though, and needless to say there are oil leaks 
So I've sent him a video of where we're at and asked if he wants me to take the next step in the "I've been meddling with everything on it can you sort it out for me?" cascade of bodgery.
Oh and the tracked barrow that want "Bang!" was flooding, so I presume it was the fuel igniting in the exhaust that caused the unplanned one gun salute.

I'm sure that's only a derivative of the vice-o-shelf demonstrated on here a year or two ago by someone with too much junk and not enough bench to continue covering in it.
Patent application will fail
Hydraulic lift table makes life easier and saves the back. Just because you can lift stuff, it doesn't mean you should.

Advice I should definitely have heeded. I've had a bad back for two months now. Things have improved, but I lifted a folder today, and I've set my recovery back by about a month.

Well that's an odd but pleasant surprise.
Just had the insurance renewal email through for the commercial policy on my van. Last year's premium was £742:39, to renew on the same terms (fully comp, commercial, carry customer's goods, trailer cover etc) is £478:19.

You know your rights….. I hope you’re going to complain !
I don't want to contact them in case it's a mistake.
No idea why it's gone down, nothing's changed with me or the van so I can only presume it's something at their end?

Very close to (finally!) seeing the back of the epic 3TA refurb now. Just waiting on a filter gauze & cover, and the customer making a decision on the wet sumping (replace the pump or live with draining it). Then a little shake down run or two, make some adjustments and send it on its way.

Very nice. IIRC, when I was a mere whippersnapper one of the neighbours had one of these but it was in a pale, metallic (?) blue, and I thought it was the mutt's nuts.
