Thankyou - did you buy a kit for this (which are readily available) or did you sort of "make it up" so to speak?

Go on youtube..its a fairly sucesfull conversion if you take time on the preperation before the sealer over the spoke nipples.

Yes - I have done - but I always like to hear what the members on here have to say about things - it somehow seems more personal (and believable).

Just bought a pair of valves, and a tube of PU sealant. You can either buy the sealant in sealer form which is more common like sika or tiger seal etc or you can use a windscreen bonder but that’s a lot denser to work with. Scotch the rims then panel wipe, I even put a thin wash of acid etch on mine. Then use a ‘cut to shape’ plastic spreader and ‘shimmy’ it on. Let it cure for a couple of days before you fit the tyre.
