Unfotunate that's where a lot of fine old rusty stuff ends up. On the bright side I tore apart a small potato planter and took the parts halfway across the country with me.

I'm not sure if this fits, it has no engine. It's my old pull grader. I spent 20+ years resisting using parts off it for my scrap sculptures because I liked it as is. Then I had to move and tried to sell it but no one was interested so I left it. I'm told it was cut up and hauled to the Junkyard by the new owners.

Some people just have no feel for old stuff that's survived so far until now.

I got curious and looked up a ship I served on for years and found a video of it being towed to the breakers. I suppose it's inevitable.

I've a 6V53 Detroit, I bought to fit in my horsebox, but then I found a TS3, so it's still sat in my old workshop, always fancied getting it running, one day, nice engineering, and classic engine design.

I know, I've know of the Commer for several years.

BM did indicate a desire to get the 6v-53 running....
