Definitely.
We used Bedford Fuels and I'm very impressed they upheld their end of the deal as we ordered just before all the "turmoil" kicked off.
So a big plug to Bedford Fuels.
Get a wooden dipstick and makr where just under 3/4 tank is then calibrate the stick in 200 litre graduations from 200 litres to full . Doing this has helped us a lot for I now know I can drop down to 100 litres and get a 1100litre refill fill at a better rate .Heating oil.

Thankfully we filled up in late July 2025 before prices went crazy ..we are due a refill in August 2026 .
If you got agreement with your neighbour to use the same supplier and you all filled the same day you could ask the supplier if you set up such a group would they give a bigger discount for these split loads done on the same day .It was £547 but at todays price would be £1021
Three of the neighbours also had a delivery and next door had an emergency order, I've got no idea what they got charged!
Round here they call it being , " On the bank " . Due to the fuel depot only being 400m away , we often get part refills from tankers on the way back in , sometimes three top ups over three or four days all on the same order and at the same price . We also pay an amount monthly by direct debits ..which gives us a bit more discount ,,usually it's a lot more than bank interest rate .
We have a big wholesale food company close by , . they allow the public to buy . Today we noticed several pallet of 20 litre containers of various oils if you can get access to such a place it might be worth checking things out . Especially if it is a Cost Co and you have the pass. /accounts.cards . Whilst I didn't bother with prices I did notice Corn Oil , Rape Seed oil and a cheaper looking Vegetable Oil .

I had a Toyota granvia pretty much the same as a surf, I found it ran great on sunflower oil my local cash n carry always had it at about £10 + vat for 25.litres
