It's currently completely unpainted, and it's going to be nothing like the suggested paint scheme! You should repaint it all white
Hope it's known, long lasting brand - when stuff breaks and there's no sparesI'm needing a distraction, and having discovered a fairly big model shop isn't that far away, this followed me home today-

It's a Tamiya CC-02 kit, so a fairly popular chassis.Hope it's known, long lasting brand - when stuff breaks and there's no spares
Don’t put that evil on me. I’ve already poured it over my hand while filling up a marker.Until you spill it
Who was it that had the gold paint incident? Was that on this forum?
I bought a Duratrax IC truck from an American model shop back in 1999. Bought a large selction of spares based on what used to break on cars I races in the 80s/early 90s.It's a Tamiya CC-02 kit, so a fairly popular chassis.
I'm also resurrecting my old Kyosho nitro truck, which has been obsolete for a while, but I've managed to track down some NOS for the stripped gear.
I do have a gear blank to machine a new one, but for the £13 the NOS is costing, that's a far simpler option!
I spotted a load of these in my (new) local Lidl the other week and didn't get them (I know, why?!). Anyway, if you get round to using them, would you let me know how they rate?
I've got a few of them maybe 3 or 4 years from eBay those things are expensive for what they are.Where'd you get the rod containers? They decent quality?
