Greetings from Somerset, England.
I have recently found myself in possession of a couple of very old Buma Boring Bars.
Both are VERY early machines, so we're probably talking mid 1930's/1940's onwards?
Fortunately, I also have the required tool kits, with the Micrometers, clamping kits, tool holders & bits etc, & so hopefully I'm not missing anything there?
The earliest Buma model identification was BNS (1936/1941?) & the slightly later model, AU, which I think was probably early 1950's onwards, but both pre-dating the later "Centromic" models?
What I'm looking for are any instruction sheets or manuals that were available for these early machines.
It all seems to be mostly unavailable now, with the exception of the later, Centromic machines, & I already have some copies of those.
Even on the "Interweb", there appears to be scant knowledge of these early machines; it's all slipped away, into obscurity...
I'm hoping that there might be someone out there who might also have one of these very early machines, who might have some Buma instruction sheets, or maybe a manual?
I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who owns or has used one of these early Buma Boring Bars, as I am finding them a fascinating distraction in my workshop!
Thanks, in anticipation...
