New member here in need of advice.

Just got myself a R-Tech P32D plasma and SIP DD 3hp 100L compressor. I needed an air hose and blindly bought this Flexzilla one. I did wrong, eh

Which air hose would folks here recommend?

Another issue puzzles me. When I opened the compressor the two 'quick connect air couplers' were already attached, which contradicts the assembly instructions.

Is this something I should be concerned about? I mean, compressed air is no joke and this is my first compressor.

Advice appreciated.

Nothing to worry about, the manual appears to be out of date, the photo on the SIP website doesn't show the valves, just the fittings.

Why? The NPT ends? I would return it and get something else.

I have this https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/10m-rubber-air-hose-38in-bsp-fittings/ with PCL XF fittings. The airline is supplied with BSP cone fittings that aren't properly compatible with airline fittings so I cut them off and used fittings with hose tails, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265911407096?var=565744527158 and https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265911407096?var=565744527144 3/8" bore hose is 9.5mm, 10mm is a tight fit but warm it up a little in hot water and it will go on easily enough.

Those reguators supplied on small compressors can cause a large pressure drop, cutting pressure is set with air is flowing, not static pressure. For a sandblast cabinat I had to take a hose off the tank and use a wall mount regulator.

Whereabout are you? If you're close to West Edinburgh / Fife then I've got plenty spare air hoses here that you're welcome to grab one out of.

Will the hose fit in place of one of the QR fittings, then get a full flow QR with the correct thread
Usually 1 is regulate second one strait from tank
