New hacksaw blades, what's still good?

I found the bacho sandflex to be quite reasonable.
Morse are also another good brand.

I'm sure everybody knows, but just in case its worth saying - junior hacksaw blades should be used on the pull, not push stroke (unless you have one of the tensioning style frames)

Not everybody knows…… I’d never heard that, I’ve a tensioning frame though. I don’t think the blades are “pull” when you buy a new one, I’ll have to have a look if I remember.

I tend to buy Eclipse, but one of the sellers warned me that there are fake Eclipse blades around. Apparently the way to tell is how easily the paint comes off when you start to use them, which to me is a bit late.

The paint lasted seconds, clearly no prep done before painting, flaked off in large pieces, bought from Prime Tools on eBay. Maybe fake, I'll see how they last I've got some cutting to do over the next week.

Useful on cars, cutting upto tight inside corners or cutting one section of a flange like an outer sill, I prefer the slow way than fixing things I didn't want to cut.

Yes, they're very handy, and when I need it, I will find it. It's in my tool cabinet, somewhere, my guess is with the hacksaws and blades, and I don't get down there that often because I have about half a dozen other hacksaws hanging on the wall.
You can never have too many. (I keep telling myself)
