a weird one.
For years I have used the plaster board fixings that use a cast alloy screw that goes into the plaster board and takes a screw from the front like these. (stoppit at the back)
my old kitchen was held up by them, on stud walls.
I just came to fit a coat rack on my dot and dab wall using them and nothing doing the ally screws just spun in the wall. It stayed up but no way was it secure.
I was thinking rawl plugs and long screws but could see the plaster self destructing.
These look like they are made for the job. Pricey at about a pound each but well has to be worth it? Id go for the countersunk versions any other options?
