Alternatives to CK flexloc?

It should be, but that part is not available in Switzerland or Germany.
I'm checking with R-Tech to see if they could send it by Royal Mail instead of UPS.
With UPS, the shipping cost would be much higher than the value of the item. Plus UPS charges an additional CHF 26 (GBP 24) for every shipment to check whether duties apply.
(Even if no customs duty is payable in the end.)

so, first impressions...the torch handle is a smidge thinner than the other one, meaning it was a pain to get the cables through, and the other handle is too loose on this torch body, but i got past that issue with the use of the vice to squeeze the handle a bit.

as for welding, it is a lot easier to get comfy in flat and horizontal positions, havent tried any vertical welding but cant imagine it would be an issue. being able tos e tht eangle of the head so freely, for me atleast, takes some pressure off my wrist while welding.

as for the insulator, i will need to buy or make a new one as the smaller ceramic cups dont fit quite as well as the number 8 but saturday is a lathe day so will knock one up from nylon for now

I find Rapid welding far better than Rtec for CK bits..

I've purchased from Rapid Welding before when I lived in Essex, but I now live near Steel City (Sheffield), 1/2 hour up the road from me with more welding suppliers than you can shake a stick within a few miles. The choice is still far from easy at times.
