he's missing a bit of ear too .I've recently found that our cat will drink water from a saucer ONLY if it's not near his food!Update on the semi wild black cat that is living in my garden.
She is eating well, she has chosen to slip inside the house, when she thought I was not lookin. Now hiding somewhere, food and water down.
Horace lets you know the water bowl is empty he'll try and get his head in the downstairs bogI've recently found that our cat will drink water from a saucer ONLY if it's not near his food!
Apparently they won't touch it near a food source, rotting meat contaminating the water I suppose.
Clever these cats aren't they?
some times at night you can here him trying to get one of the wardrobe doors open ,he likes to snuggle in all the clothes in the bottom .all true, been doing that for our cat(s) for years. current one prefers the water in a seperate room to his foodI've recently found that our cat will drink water from a saucer ONLY if it's not near his food!

Seem to be obeying that rule!they are not allowed on the worktops either!

They wouldn’t stay long if I was sat in there…..if you go to the toilet they scratch the door to get in with you!
