So like with my other Kemppi M358 I bought, I'm now upgrading to a Kemppi X5 machine, this will be just a thread on how I get on with it and how I find the features.. I will likely do a comparison to the M358 as there is allot of cross overs.
This is the latest version with the Sense cable that monitors arc voltage in a closed loop for what is meant to be much finder control.. so look forward to testing this out. Also has the newer HD300AP wire feeder which I've not seen in person yet, but its a side loader type instead of the top feed.. I also got a 10m interconnect cable (god they are expensive) and a trolley so I can leave power source in the corner of the workshop and I have 10m the wire feeder can move about from the machine on wheels
You'll also see I went for the extra programs, WiseThin+, Maxcool and Max Position. Software isn't cheap for these machines, but they stay on them forever so hope the machine lasts forever too...
Well its all arrived in boxes ready to be opened like a big expensive present to myself.

For anyone that is going to ask "how much" I did a spreadsheet on "RRP" prices, it's unlikely anyone pays full price though lol. But still was expensive, especially when you can't claim the VAT back

This stuff wasn't cheap.. I didn't put it on the list but its about £150...

Made this myself, it was best earth cable I could find in 70mm2

The 8 Series 5m torch with the digital screen to be added when I set it up.

The new 80GRE digital screen for the 8 series torches.

I will post some photos once I have it all set up.
