PC speakers for old people?

My laptop speakers aren't loud enough. I bought a USB speaker but it's all bass so I still can't hear anything anyone is saying and it vibrates too much. I'm not interested in listening to music and just want the people in the computer to speak up a bit.

Anyone found any nice USB speakers without all the bass? I guess choose the small ones but in the modern world they have the technology to make the small ones annoying.

I got my lad some cheap Amazon basics speakers a while ago, he wanted to stop using headphones

I did some pc upgrades at Christmas and when testing they were surprisingly good

Usb powered with an analogue input so not trickery

I've got one of these sorts of things for mine and I use it for all my teams calls, works fine, not basy at all.

Thejabra I have is a conference call speaker, plugs in via usb and provides speaker with microphone and volume controls

i have this model diamond emc 2.0 usb speakers which i got for peanuts

there ok too treble for my liking though but you can adjust the sound via pc or laptop

but i prefer 3 speakers with center bass for single output out for 3 port outs its 5.1s

Get a headset... it'll be a load better than any other microphone speaker combo you can get

As an old person, I find the audio from both my LG and Samsung TV's (both fairly new) very poor. The audio from my 1986 NAD amplifier and MS10 speakers is fine .

My mate had a cheap sound bar which he upgraded to a samsung one so he chucked it my way after I set up his new one it sounds pretty good in my shed on the PC

I managed to rescue FIL's hearing aid loop amplifier when he died 10 or more years ago .

These days I'm losing hearing nearly as fast as Labour are losing the popularity stakes All I need is for son in law to crawl round the bungalow's roof void and lay the aerial wire in for me and bring it down by the heating pipes to the amplifier . .

I have a small Bluetooth speaker made by Anker and I use it regularly to listen to music from my phone.
Impressive noise from it and it could work quite well with a laptop and keep it charged via he usb port.
