Recommendations needed for LED torch

Hello, old fashioned torch, push/slide button on and off.
Modern LED torch cycles through on, flashing, SOS in Morse code, UV.
My garage work lights cycle through main and top and when I pick it up the magnets are encrusted with spanners.
Anyone know of an LED torch that just switches on and off? Nothing else. Preferably about 15cm tall.

I have an Olight Javelot which I like.
Switches on and of with just one push on the button. Ones it's on you can cycle through the intensity levels.

I have some 10£ head torches off of Ebay. Very bright. Last a long time. Batteries that come with them don't last as long as decent replacements. They do cycle through bright, less.bright and flash but for a tenner I wear them loads (like when working on the car as well as at night) and they seem great.

What cordless tools do you have? I bought a 12v Parkside led torch as I already had the batteries and it was £6.99, light quality isn't great, it's a little blue and the beam is a little narrow but it works as a torch should, I think I will buy a Makita 18v next for a wider beam flood light.

Take a trip to B&Q if there is one near you , they have oodles and as it is a static bricks & mortar company as well as online if the torches go faulty and you still have the receipt you can change them or get a refund if they are still within the warrantee period .

I got a £10 rechargeable super bright led torch for my birthday ..one that clips on the peak of my cap or in the fold of my commando style cap comforter , it lasted about 3.25 hrs on full white LEDs

I bought one of these for myself and then another two for gifts. They are usb c rechargeable and exceptionally bright with a beam that can be focused from floodlight to concentrated beam. Compact too. They do have multiple modes, but if you press the button a single time it just turns on/off.

I have a few Olights, good torches. I’ve the Javelot and the javelot mini, the big javelot is a cracker. The mini is really a handy size for putting in your pocket. They have a sale on now.

My frustration too. Eventually, I bought one from Lidl!
