Best paint for squat rack outdoors

Hi got a squat rack to make. It’s going outdoors so it will be open to rain and weather. What would be a good paint to use that is durable? Ideally something to one coat without a primer? It will be made from mild steel. Someone mentioned skip paint, black oxide paint.. would this be any good? If so could someone point me in the right direction to which one and where to buy?

Would ideally rather roll it on aswell without spraying if that helps

Hammerite is still ok if applied properly, but I would still use a primer.

My go-to coating has been Tractol for many years, but again I would prepare and prime. Not sure there are any true one-coat coverings I could recommend like old Hammerite from days gone by.

Applied to the inside of the dustbin maybe! I can't think of a single redeeming factor that the modern incarnation provides.

Thanks iv tried hammerite it’s not really durable enough for what I want, scrapes of quiet easily

I’d use Raptor paint. I sprayed a few things on the Shogun, mainly underneath such as bash plate, tow bar frame, and they've held up well. It’s easy to apply too with a Shutz gun.

Epoxy is tough, but it would need a top coat outdoors to stop UV attack.
