I assumed they were the original motors and pulleys as they were all identical. However, now I look at the speed chart again only 8 speeds are listed (for each mains frequency) which doesn't correspond with a five-step back-geared drill, for which you'd expect to see 10 speeds.
Yea most probably.It could be meddings offered different pulley and speed options from the standard.
Were they 1 phase or 3 and what was output 6plyI found some old photos. These motors were taken from my bank of meddings drills. Check the pulleys...

Thanks for info 6plyLarger motors will be d90 frame or similar, with correspondingly large spindles. 24mm won't be convenient to you.
