I recently posted looking advice on gate hinges that rise.

Posts are upright, its the hinges that are on the skew.

Would it be wise to plug (3D printed) the holes in the posts just to stop creatures going in there?

Posts are level with existing pillars. Its the hinges that are offset to allow for the rise
