Urgent service Chinese diesel heater

In fairness it was a little smoky on startup. I assumed the exhaust but it may have been over fuelling. Pump not clicking much though.

If you're running on Kero, then it shouldn't really smoke much at all during startup.
I've got no idea how you tune them via the standard controller though, as I have an Afterburner fitted to mine so I can control it remotely, and it makes tuning pretty easy.

About 10 feet but the problem is it turns 90 degrees and goes vertical.

the vertical wouldnt have been hot enough to give a lift up the exhaust and because it was sealed no lift could be given via a suction that is used with wood stoves

on another note because it was pushing all the time you would have had sever back flow back to the heater

Yes as there is no exhaust. I service mine once a year. In winter it runs about 50hrs a week. Mine is a genuine 4.6kw. The Chinese diesel heaters are typically around 3.5kw true output.

not seen one , theyre made in japan and worth the ££

other choices are parafin heater with a wick or the Chinese derv heaters for campers etc

It only stinks when starting up and shutting down. Not a whiff all day and I am pretty sensitive to fume.
Very quiet running.
The tank in mine is about 6 litres. You can take it out to refill it whilst the heater is still running. You have about 5 mins. Tank just slots back in. Really easy.
Run mine on kero - they say stupid expensive paraffin but as heating oil is now ultra low sulphur anyway there really is no need.
I wouldn't use one in a small bedroom but in a big room with reasonable ventilation they are fine.
Obviously as with ALL heaters a CO monitor is essential although it does have all sorts of safety features built in.
It does need servicing once a year. Quite easy - there is a combustion pot that just needs wiring brushing.

Could the condensation get out of exhaust fizzy, with mates 100mm X 12m and 1m x 50mm vertical we got a lot of condensate, the main pipe sloped down slightly to the end and we fitted a water drain pipe 6 or 8mm venting water outside

These heaters look new and interesting - for large workshop use. They are available ducted and non ducted. Work on the same principle as the inverter type.
No fan so quiet running. Not cheap though sadly. £1600 or so for a 19kw model.

That is another possibility.

We found a lot of water collected that's why we moved pipe / heat exchanger to give slight slope and a drain..
Over 2 liter in a full week ruining
