Rtech 250 mig industrial

Just bought this mig and it's been put straight to work on major repairs on one of our breakdown on off subframe . Material I'm using is 8mm box section and 8mm U channel . I've tried the setting easy use/mode or something which didn't work and I've tried matching the settings on manual mode and have tried fine tuning from there and I can't seem to get the smooth burn in ,I'm using 15% argon mix . Any settings that anyone could share for me to try . Best result I've had is volts at 20/21 and wire around 10/11 . I'm sure it's me and not the machine .

have you read the manual , are there hidden settings for example , polarity the right way , anything thats been overlooked , fresh bottle of gas ,, decent brand on wire ?

Do you have the 251 mig? As the old 250 didn't have easy set.

I have the 251 and its a good welder you should have no problems even on easy set menu.
