Crossed over filament

Anyone seen this before?


Kicked off a 25 hour print last night and woke up to an AMS overload.
Seems the filament had a cross over from the factory. The print had already run for 4 hours so it was fairly well embedded in the spool.
Thankfully the Bambi allowed me to sort and then continue on.

Yes. This's why I stick with Sunlu. It's the only brand I've used so far where I've never noted that on a spool. Usually the extruders will cope with that. It appears AMS's are slightly less tolerant of it?

You are correct, the sensor on the AMS motor detects an overload as it tightens due to the crossover. Like you say, not had a problem with Sunlu.
