Furesents -LED.....

tried to post this before but cant find it now....sorry....

OK....have a nice 5' twin fitting.....asked the Mrs to get 2 new LED tubes so I can reuse it.....
I gutted the lamp waiting for the new un's....
the new tubes came with a starter....never seen that before.....surely these LED's dont use the choke etc....cos whats the point......
all the others I have converted were 4' with the tube clearly marked POS and NEG.....
NO SUCH marks on this tube....

help please if poss.....

It's AC, there is no positive and negative.

I don't think the supplied starter will be a starter, probably just a connection to bypass the starter, likely to make them easy to fit for DIYers leaving the ballast in place. As the tube states 220v to 240v 50/60hz I would think you could just connect line and neutral without a ballast or starter. What do the instructions say?

I think it's just a drop in replacement.
