My last trials bike was a Beamish 250 Suzuki…..
Was gonna upgrade to Montessori I think but it was then getting into serious money….
Besides a bad off n 5 broken ribs….I quit….
Still watch the indoor masters of the sport tho…

I was once being wheeled down the corridor into the OR and two nurses accompanying me were discussing the actual shade of red my toenails were painted. My ex and my youngest had painted them a lovely bright crimson whilst I had been asleep the previous night! Bloody embarrassing.

Fell asleep at an ex’s house one afternoon before backshift (4-12). Woke up late, chucked my helmet and gloves on, got to work just in time, panic dressed my overalls and boots and went to toolbox talk, where everyone proceeded to laugh. She’d painted my nails a lovely pearlescent turquoise while I was asleep………

Yep. I’ve been the Guinea pig for that too

Managed to wobble out to the workshop to drop the forks out finally and check the damage. Never seen owt like it…..

It’s displaced the top bearing cup a hellish amount, stretched it and cracked it. Now to find a solution

First Id send Beta a few pictures asking for advice.

But to fix it, Id make a new headstock, cut out the old and weld in new

could you turn a stem then cope it back into the frame again ,,, like an old featherbed or the likes

Already spoken to beta, they have a brand new frame on the shelf that was stamped with the wrong vin when ordered, so couldn’t be sold. They’ve asked the factory for permission to scrub the number and restamp it with mine and they’ve refused.

Its only the top cup that’s banjoed, and the downtube has enough clearance on the fork steering tube to be able to make a spigot with cup machined to be pressed in and welded

You want to be having a very good look at the triple clamps as well for any fractures/ distorsion , if that's the headstock what awhack they must have taken .
