Just got updates for W10 till Oct26

Just out of curiosity, I just clicked on Updates on my W10 machine. Got an MS page saying "updates stopped on Oct14, but you may be able to get extended updates". So I clicked on the page and a message came back saying "yes, you can have updates until October 26."

Who knew?

I've been trying (unsucessfully) to totally disable updates on a Win10 machine for some time. Bally thing does it's own thing and leaves the sytem needing rebooting. Why can't they leave things alone ! Stops all my ip cameras working.

Same here. Has changed my default screen colours etc. Before now. What's that got to do with " security updates:??
Seems even if you set to"off" in the various places I've found it ( based on various Google searches) it'll often pop up or as you say just reboot
