If that's the same as a Renault Modus, I had one and the electrics were awful. Book time 3 hours to change headlight bulbs, indicator wires constantly breaking due to stupid design. Never been so glad to get rid of a car.
Currently have a four door pug 108 bought as a repaired cat s with low mileage and can't really fault it, apart from an annoying rattle that I can't track down. Excellent mpg, well over fifty, often up to sixty. Has a 1.0 engine with a camchain, one of the first things I checked before we bought it.

Oh a side story
A garage told Kath her Chevy Spark needed a new cambelt; snd gave the horror stories of what happens when belts break.
Sparks have chains.
He lost quite a few customers

When the Modus first came out, they were charging three hours labour to change the headlight bulbs. After more than a few customers went ballistic, they brought out a flat fee of £50! I had the whole front end held together with cable ties that I just clipped off and got it down to 45 minutes. Mad. The indicators were always packing up because the hair thin wires were flexed backwards and forwards every time you used the indicators!

Are you in Yorkshire? Having one working headlight and one out seems to be standard around there
