Leaking IKEA ÄLMAREN tap.....

Guys, anyone know how to get the cartridge out of this tap? Help would be much appreciated.

Handle off, looks like this, the screw is short and only goes into the plastic and does not appear to have any function.

I suspect the chrome shround "should" unscrew, and under that you will find a retaining nut, that is usually how they work.

As MM said. The shroud comes off, might need to run around the edge with thin blade first, then you access to the nut that hold the cartridge in.

I tried unscrewing it earlier and it didn't feel like it would budge, is assumed it was integral. I'll have another go but expect I may end up scratching it.

Poured some boiling water over it and the bezel came free.

Job done, replacement cartridge was a fiver from Screwfix. Thanks all.
