Aristotig 255 foot pedal

Does this older TIG use a normal potentiometer style footpedal or is it also canbus?
I am hoping the older ones are conventional.
Would it be easy to use a cheap chinese footpedal for it?
I object to paying silly money for something so basic.

There is a similar machine on offer locally and the only thing missing is the pedal.

Sadly I still haven't got around to it. Looks pretty straightforward though. And I found the manuals online for the welder and the pedal.

That is one of them. There is also one for the foot pedal that gives the pin outs and resistance for the potentiometers. Will see if I can find them.

What do you think of the machine now?
I only have limited experience with two very different machines (ancient Smitweld/ESS and Fronius Magic wave) so any comment is appreciated.

Any pedal with 10k pot will work when pins M & L are bridged in the plug. Extra 2,5 k pot is not required.
Schematics are in my post. I'm 100% sure as I have a working pedal for my DTF 180 AC/DC now.

I bought a used pedal on eBay and modified it (really just worked out the pins and bought a plug), fitted it to my 200A acdc tig. Someone on here kindly sent me the wiring diagrams. Forty£ all in iirc.
