Hi all, I've had some assistance in the past here with painting but I'm doing something else currently, trying to rattle can a body panel to use as a temporary thing so I'd like it to look OK but I'm not going to be chasing an unrealistic finish etc.
What I want to know is how to finish off a direct gloss? All the things I have turned up on Google or Youtube refers to 2K Direct Gloss but this is just a regular rattle can.
I was actually using base and clear, but have had to sand back due to some issues. I ordered more paint but accidentally bought the direct gloss version and it can't be returned so I will just go with it. It's a track build and doesn't need to be amazing, just not ****. I'm trying to figure out whether I am supposed to sand the paint once I have finished spraying it or whether I am supposed to just polish it? Does anyone have any knowledge/experience they could share? I really don't want to get this wrong and be having to try again. Again.
