Hello all, I'm back.
I've been a bit busy with work and 'life' stuff so didn't have much spare time and what I did have was precious downtime, or putting stuff on social media which (I keep being told) is essential.
The workshop/business is going OK to well after the move and reincarnation. This quarter is the first one where it's finally standing on its own two feet, which as many will know is good going after 18 months and frankly a bloody big relief.
A big relief especially as it's all been going on while we're juggling family stuff. My mum passed away last year, and my wife's mum no longer lives with us as a few months ago her dementia reached the point where she needs 24/7 'proper' care. That as many will know comes at a cost, £5,500 pcm to be precise so there's been that pressure lumped on. Fair to say we've had a tumultuous two or three years. Everyone gets them of course, so it was our turn.
Anyway, I will be back into posting on here, and looking forward to a good read through to see who's been up to what. I'll also stick some of the more interesting bits that I get through the workshop, from a manual pie press refurb (I kid you not) to some lovely bikes and weird problems.
Also worth mentioning that if any of you are nearby and want to call in please feel free to do so.
